I used Mer Car Polish on recommendation from a cycling guru friend. It's definitely more shiny but still dull in comparison with the rest of the bike but I understand that you can build up the shine with that stuff so I'll have to try it a few more times.
I'll let you know - thanks for asking0 -
You can always use Muc Off diluted . Even half strength it's still strong enough for oily bits . More economical too .Luke0

I use RS1 by Putoline which is a polish and wax spray that dealers use in motorbike showrooms. It's ok for carbon fiber too.Every winner has scars.0

you have damaged the surface of the paint . you will need to use a polisher on it and a compound to cut back through th damaged surface and flaten the paint back to a nice shiney surface. you shouldnt try this yourself you should go to a profesional as you will need a proper polisher and there is a danger of the paint getting hot very quickley as its on carbon which could really mess things up .what part of the country are you in?0

I think the paint that is damaged is on alloy - frame has carbon fork and seatstay but I think it says on the frame that it is "alloy".
I'm in cheshire (North West England - NR Manchester)0 -
as its on alloy makes it slightly easyer as it wont get as hot but still could get problems. i could of helped but unfortunatly in london. if you go to a friendly sprayshop im sure they would help you out its a very simple job for a experienced finisher/sprayer0
