Thanks for that, Moomaloid! You were right about the longer trailer - Basso and Leipheimer holding forth on Roubaix. :? I think Basso would probably cry if he had to race tomorrow.'This week I 'ave been mostly been climbing like Basso - Shirley Basso.'0

Cool, I don't think I've ever seen Flecha being interviewed before. Hope he wins tomorrow tbh...
There's another longer clip from the same film here: (Edit: I should really learn to read further than the first two sentences of people's posts!)

Interviews with Armstrong, Leipheimer and Basso... real Roubaix experts those are
It does look like quite a good film though. I plan to have a viewing of A Sunday in Hell later today to get me in the mood for tomorrow!0 -
It looks fantastic! Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Looks like they've captured the mystique of the event so well. Its been tooooooo long since we had a really professionally made film about cycling and it looks like they've had access all areas too!
I can't wait to get my hands on it and sit my non cycling friends down to watch it. I'm always going on about the history and stories attached to our sport and they always look at me with blank faces. They still dont understand why we do it. People can jog yes, but ride a bike?
By the way guys, i found the site, and if you drop an email to this guy.....

With this in the header - Road To Roubaix - Update Me. Not only does he get back to you straight away, he'll keep us all up to speed with the developments. :P0 -
Only 2 clicks later and I'm watching this cycling related movie. Beware! The video is OK but some the other content displayed is not child safe.

The one Moomaloid links to
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buQGibzq8Sg
is great, I'd watch that.
But as he says, the other one by the same director which afx237vi links to

Too right, I'd not watch the film from that, looks like yet another (yawn!) Disco / Lance brown-tongue job for the undiscriminating in the US market.
Apart from the fact that I've never bought into Disco and Lance, what have they ever achieved in Roubaix ?
Saint Lance hasn't even done it...
(done other things apparently  , but not Roubaix )0 -

You mean aside from a string of high placed finshes? Nothing really.
There was this young guy once who rode for USPS who done quite well in P-R - I think his name is Tom Boonen.Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.0 -
Well thats just put me in the mood for 'hell of the north'. Classics are great - to me its really the start of the year, the cycling is back on TV and the weather getting better too.Brian B.0

 I'm on that video! I was in Paris when they were filming it so I understandably stood to watch! You see me walk out behind some Chinese guy at 1.19 to take a photo.
That's spooky!0 -

2nd place is a load of crap obviiously..They managed 2nd..am sure you know who0 -
cyclingnews.com has a pretty good run down of the favourites:

Cracking last line too:
Finally, the most appropriate name in the race award goes to Agritubel's Benoit Sinner. Who better to do well in HellIt's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -
But for having such a very strong Classics team - riders like Boonen and Hoste and Devolder in support of Hincapie - not to have a win does seem a failure
Thanks for the link - I love the Classics, more than the Grand Tours, they are the real spirit of racing for me0 -
IMO hincapie get's massive exposure for a guy that's only won a handful of major races - being up the front and choking every time means that he's more likely to lose - in 2005 and he just sat on Boonen and guess what, he lost again! Even with the miracles of Dr Disco - he could still be placing top-10 in the spring classics and then winning mountain stages in the tour - go figure! Looks like a great film apart from the interview with the non-riders!Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
