Aright my bike has sore levers and I was woundering if I could change them for something a bit better, but with out changing the rest of the components?. If so is much adjustment required?.

I have adjusted my handle bars to a better postion for riding but now my levers are not in a very good position and I can hardly reach the brake from the drops and hitting the button for changing down gears is more akward also.

Hi, assuming you have an 8 speed setup then you could get some 9 speed Tiagra levers (new or used off Ebay) a new 9 speed cassette and a new chain. At a guess that would set you back about £80 if you look around, a bit more if you buy the levers new though.

I presume that the cable pull from a Sora lever is the same as Campag 10sp. My wife upgraded her Sora groupset to Veloce. Can she use her old Shimano wheel with an 8 sp Sora cassette on the turbo with Veloce groupset on the bike. It would allow her to have a turbo wheel.

One cable pull is 4.79mm and the other is 4.8mm, can't remember which way around though.

To use a 8 speed shimano cassette you need a shimano derailler with campag levers- it won't work with a campag derailler, so unfortunately the idea of a turbo wheel wouldn't work.

    Hi there.

Can you post a picture so we can see what you mean? I can't get the link in your sig to work.

    Cheers, Andy

that link should work, its not a very clear piture I know.

I have the handle bars turned up a bit, I find this give me a good positon when riding on the top and bottom of the drops. but the levers are to high up.

I know I dont need new levers I can just reposition them. Was just woundering if it were possable to simply swap levers over.

I get quite alot of noise from the chain rubbing of the front derailler when in certain gears, is this a normal thing for a triple, or a normal thing for any road bike for that matter.
