I took jockey wheels off rear derailleur to clean all the gunge and muck off them . Before putting everything back together should I lubricate with some light grease or just a shot of GT85 ?

    Light Grease.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Light grease in mine - Lithium grease from Halfrauds to be exact - On either side of the bearing/sleeve, and a little on the shims too.
If it's a Campag. derailleur, ensure you put the wheels back in the right order - they're marked "upper" and "lower" to help.
I used a dot of threadlock to hold the bolts in place.

You can also put some cross-country MTB oil on it, (perfect to lubricate, but not collecting dust like grease)

Threadlock like LocTite is a great idea also!

    Good luck!

Went with the light , lithium grease option but next time I might try the cross country oil. Went for a 16 mile spin this afternoon and all seems fine. certainly better for the thorough cleaning and relubing of the drive train
Loctite sounds a good idea too.

    Thanks folks
