How do I adjust the rear mech to stop it knocking the underside of the chainstay every time I hit a bump ??

    Nothing much you can do really, apart from fitting a chainstay protector.

    Or do what I did, and replace the mech with an XT Shadow - no slap at all :D

    Before the switch I used a MBUK chainstay protector turned inside-out so that the logo didn't show :wink: but the mech still wore a hole through it. Rotating it so that the velcro was between the mech and chanistay made it more durable though. Some people use an old innertube wrapped around the chanstay and cable tied in position.
