Hi,

I'm looking for a small saddlebag something just to keep a smare tube in, levers, multitool and Co2 maybe some other small items. I like this http://www.wiggle.co.uk/ProductDetail.a ... 5360029055 but it looks to big :?

If it's small you're after, Fizik do some tiny ones...

I'm thinking of going with the Topeak Wedge line, with the clip-in fitting, so that I can use a single saddle bag with just one set of tools and puncture repair stuff on all my bikes, and have a set of clips on each saddle ready for swapping about.
  • if you do get a fizik one don't get the clip in type. i have one and it lasted 6 months before the rivets fixing the clip to the bag rusted through - useless. i now have the smallest of their non clip type which is actually pretty good, i have the following stuffed into it:

    Co2 canister & valve
    2nd Co2 canister
    2 tubes
    tyre levers
    Multi tool
    Mini chain link tool
    Spare Missing Link

  • It was the samllest one they sold at my LBS so i think its an extra small

its about 10cm long (it just long enough to accomodate a Truflo Co2 valve with the cannister attached to it) and about 7cm wide - out it this way it doesn't stick out beyond the saddle at at all, if you look at the saddle from above you can't see it.

its a tight squeeze and it only works because i use conti supersonic tubes which i roll up as tightly as possible (ends up about 5cm x 3cm x 2cm) - i suppose 7 years architecture training has come in handy when it comes to packing :)

I avoid clip-on seat packs - they rattle annoyingly - I prefer something with straps that I can snug up tight under the saddle - the Stella Azurri is a nice little pack - it takes a tube, a mutlitool, a CO2 inflator and some patches
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I think that the Topeaks are the neatest (and I've never noticed 'em rattle). With a spare clip convenient for swapping between bikes - I've 3 bags that vary a little in size and 3 of the bikes have clips, so just change as and when! Seem to be hard wearing also.

I use one of these, doesn't get much smaller....

Holds a spare tube, C02 inflator and levers. Anything else goes in my pocket.....

I'd have to carry my 27x1 1/4 tubes around my neck!

I use the Decathlon wedge pack in the 0.7l size, does the job nicely and very cheap. If you want to go super-minimalist there's even a 0.4l version I think.
