I'm buying a new bike that comes with these fitted - are they any good in the wet?

If not what do you recommend?

From memory, yes. They were also very durable, I found (5000km out of the rear, which is good for me).

They've got some puncture proofing, roll well and are very light. They seem to get a good reviews on the Weight Weenies forum and will be on my shopping list when my current tyres wear out.

Was out this morning on my Planet X Pro Carbon in bright sunshine and then the next minute we had a hale and rain storm and the Ultremo's were fine.

It was the first time I have ridden them in the wet and I was impressed. They seem quite 'comfortable' too. :D
