Giro Sardegna stage race/sportive - last miunte changes

See below some changes that have been made to the programme for the Giro and published by organizer Tonino on the www.girobike.com last week.
Notice to participants:
The week of cycling of the GiroSardegna 2008 has beaten all the records. The numbers of participants inscribed are now 779, of which :
Mediogiro Sardegna: 385 · Grangiro Sardegna: 295 · Tour: 56 · 1.000 km di Sardegna: 43
There are the following important announcements relating to the race:
The start of the races was planned to be at the Hotel La Marmorata, but the access road is not suitable for a race because it is not tarmac and there are lots of holes. For the safety of the cyclists, all the starts and finishes have been moved to the town of Santa Teresa di Gallura.
The collection of the race packs will still be at the Hotel La Marmorata where both the daily and the final prizegiving ceremonies will be held.
ROUTE CHANGES:
Sunday 20 April: Granfondo Sardegna:
Due to a landslide, we cannot get authorization for a race on the road between Viddalba and Bortigiadas. There are no other alternative roads which are good enough and as a consequence, the GranGiro/GranFondo will be shortened and will exactly follow the same route as the MedioGiro/MedioFondo of 115 k.
Cyclists will still be lined up in two different starting grids (GranGiro and MedioGiro) because the starts will be separated in time with the GranGiro/GranFondo cyclists starting at 0900 and the MedioGiro/MedioFondo cyclists at 0915. There will also be two separate prizegiving ceremonies.
Wednesday 23 April: Tempio Pausania/Monte Limbara:
The start of the race will be at 0930 for the GranGiro and at 0940 for the MedioGiro as planned but NOT from the industrial estate but in the town of Tempio Pausania itself in Via Angioi.
Also the route which was to pass through the industrial zone (at about 30k into the race) will instead go through the town of Tempio where you will find food/drinks which you should pick up while riding.
Sunday 26 april: Individual time trial:
We have managed to get authorization for the final individual time trial on the roads inside the Consorzio of the Baia di Santa Reparata (in the beautiful natural scenery of Capo Testa - Santa Teresa di Gallura). The race will therefore be over an undulating and panoramic circuit of 4 x 5.4 K with 130 m of climbing. The total distance will be 16.2K with 390m of climbing.
