Stupid front mech!
Right, this is going to be a really stupid question, but...
How do you adjust the front mech so you can actually use both chainrings?!
I haven't used my road bike for ages (use an MTB with slicks for commuting) and decided to use it on my rollers a couple of days ago. It was on the large chainring and I shifted down at one point. I then wasn't able to shift back up again. I have tried playing around with the H-screw and the adjuster on the down tube, but I can't get it to move quite far enough to avoid making lots of noise when on the large chainring and large sprocket. It also won't move back on to the small chainring now! Aaargh!
