HELP FOR CHARITY RIDE PLEASE!!!

Hi. In August, myself and a few work colleagues will be riding from Birmingham Airport to RAF Brize Norton and then up to Selly Oak Hospital to raise funds for the wounded soldiers and their recuperation. I am looking for any info about planning the route, especially in the way of which route is best...i'e the Fosseway etc. Does anyone know of any cycling clubs around that area that i can contact to get a heads up on whats good and what to avoid around there. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
