Pro Race 3 25mm If/Wehn ?

Anyone know if Michelin are planiing to bring out a 25mm Pro Race 3 , and if so when ?

I've emailed them twice from thier website - without reply ! (thier website - like many other manufactures , is way out of date)

    Just recieved this from Michelin on the Pro Race 3................

    There was a problem with the production of the new Pro3 range which has meant that the launch has been fragmented. The Pro3 Race in 23mm in Dark Grey was launched at the start of March. More colours of Pro3 Race will launch at the start of June with even more colours plus other versions (Pro3 Light and Pro3 Grip) and dimensions (including the 25mm) that you ask about launching in late summer - probably September. Just as a note, the 25mm will only be available in Dark Grey.

    As to why there is no information on the website, this is an internal communication issue and it happens that we launch a new product just at the time that a new website is being prepared so apologies for this shortage of available information. If you have any specific questions then I'd be happy to assist!

    Complete mess if you ask me, similar to when they were producing the ProRace 3s and had to stop production of the Krylion carbons to do it.

    Very short sighted for a major tyre manufacturers imo.

    Simple production problems. They only have a certain amount of capacity. They need to produce their most popular tyre in its most popular configuration so have to stop production of something else. Then they can move on to generate the lesser requested items once the initial world-wide run has gone.

    The guy from Michelin who emailed me has been more than helpful in providing this info...........on relection I perhaps shouldn't have copied his reply in its entirety (particularly the part about production problems as this seems to have caused a bit of a stir - some overly harsh comments. But I ask - are people experiencing difficulties in obtaining PR3's ? - probably not as seelers seem to be flooded with them are are discounting them. So I don't see what the fuss is about).
