Got another bike for road/occasional tow path stuff, don't want to go full slick was thinking of something inbetween like these:

Anyone got any other sugestions to consider? Not wanting to spend more than £15 per tyre and looking at 1.75s.

I have fitted the Conti travel contact last week as it has slick inner and grip on the edges for off road. My commute is mainly along river bank and canal tow paths but not had chance to really test out the grip yet, looks good as a dry weather summer tyre. It also has the added Kevlar anti puncture belt.

The Travel contact is really great on road, and good on gravel paths. I only have it on the back, as I couldn't afford 2, but a knobbly up front means that I can really push it on towpaths and the like. I would not want to take it much further offroad though."Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0
