Chorus ultra narrow chain - can it use any campag 10spd compatible power link ? I've just stuck a KMC link on and it seems to work OK but does look a tiny little bit looser than when I've used them on previous campag chains - I can't remember if all campag 10spd is ultra narrow or if that's something they've brought in more recently.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

I have used the Connex 6.0mm ("Shimano") link on the Campag ultra-narrow chain for 2 summers including 2 etapes with no probs.

Got a Connex on a Campag. Veloce chain - seems fine so far.... wife's had it on her's and she's done about 100-200 miles on it so far without any problem.

Recently fitted a KMC chain to my winter trainer, and I suspect it may be a touch wider.
Proof of the pudding will be in a week's time when I get the verdict from the LBS as to why the indexing's gone bananas since I changed the chain over from a Campag!

If using KMC links then you need this 5.9mm one marked '10C' to do the proper job:

However, I've used the 6.2mm '10S' ones too without problems..

Chucked the packet in the bin yesterday - will have to have a sort through the rubbish!

Either '10S' or '10C' should be stamped on the side plate of the link itself.

Thanks - turns out I have the S but have ordered the narrow links and I'll refit the old chain for now as I'm racing at the weekend and don't fancy risking it in a bunch.
