New rider looking for help

Hello everyone out there in mountain bikeland. This is a first for me, i've never posted any thing on a forum before, and i've only just started riding again after many years of growing lazy and fat.
I would like to know if anybody knows of any fairly easy trails in the Southampton area..

I'm afraid I can't help with your question but I noticed that a lot of people have looked at this thread but no one has replied, and as you say it's your first post on any forums I thought I'd say hello so you didn't think you were being ignored.

How about Queen Elizabeth Country Park ? There allways loads of people there to tag along with.

the obvious place is the new forest even if you go once a week and then put some miles in on the road during the week.
