As the title suggests, is it safe / advisable to use a presta tube in a schrader rim. I have recently purchased a set of halo freedom 29" rims, but my old rims used presta tubes was wondering if i could get away with still using them.

If not where do you buy 29" 2.2 schrader inner tubes? They seem a little rare!
Have tried, Wiggle, CRC, On-One nothing.
Billys.co.uk have 29 x 2.1 will they work?

Sorry for loads of questions. Rebuilding the Inbred and want to get it right.

    no probs with doing that.

you can get some plastic sleeves that you can fit. also some presta tubes has a lock ring that has a step on the top that fits into the 8,5mm hole.

Schwalbe tubes have the metal collar.
