I'm on holiday near Criccieth at the end of the month. Does any one have any routes, about 30-40 mile suitable for an afternoon ride, with not too much traffic.

I know several routes of about 300-400 feet in the area....
If I had a stalker, I would hug it and kiss it and call it George...or Dick

  • Just back from Cricceith and have been there for last 20 years worth of hols.

Lots of routes - do you have a garmin and I can send over some routes?

    If not then
    1) NW out of Cricceith and head towards Morfa Nefyn is a good route or
    2) E towards Porthmadog and then N towards Beddgelert onwards towards Nant Peris (Snowdon).
    3) N towards A487 and then look for the cycle track on the LHS of the road - good for about 5 miles from memory.

Failing that have a look on Sustrans as there are a number of cycle routes around Cricceith (No 18 I think?).

Also if you send me your email address I can link some online routes I have.

    Regards, Harry.
