Boris or Ken

Boris all the way, Ken has been in power far too long and it isn't healthy.
Anyone who thinks Boris is stupid needs their head examining, you just get to read classics at Oxford and edit the Spectator if you're a moron.
Plus Boris actually cycles in London. I'm fed up with Ken pi$$ing money away on people like Lee Jasper, re-phasing traffic lights, Bob Kiley etc etc oh and the tube has become unbelievably expensive under Ken - where exactly is the CC revenue going because there's been naff all improvement in Public Transport (aside from the Oyster card).- 2023 Vielo V+1

de Pfeffle Johnson's latest gem was to tell a meeting of London's homeless that he lives in a house worth 'stacks of cash'. Now recall his finest moment - using the word 'piccaninnies' and the phrase 'water melon smile'.
Next factor in that if elected, de Pfeffel Johnson will need to fly the flag for London and attract investment from the emerging superpowers. Imagine the Prince Philip moments we are going to have when he has to press the flesh in India and China.
Ken has delivered on public transport; it is noticably better than it was 10 years ago. The fact it is expensive and it is taking ages to improve is down to the decades of neglect the network suffered, under mostly Tory Governments and a Tory GLC. When I used to live in Tooting in the mid 1980's I travelled on the Northern Line on trains built in 1932. The stock just retired on the District Line was built in the mid 1960's.0 -

Nope. I'm supporting the Labour Candidate as the Tory is an utter arse who will damage our city.0 -
Without being in anyway disrespectful Gavin, do you really think Ken has made a positive difference to London? I don't think so and I was born and bred there, but just had to get out. It's just not the same city anymore........certainly not London for Londoners (a very rare breed now mind). To disagree with three-fourths of the British public is one of the first requisites of sanity - Oscar Wilde0

I'm a native too, and there's plenty of us about
I've covered the transport issues above, but the Mayor has done loads else good. C-Charge for one; the Friday night traffic jam down Holland Park Avenue is gone. And we haven't had one of the grey summer fogs since road pricing came in.
What Ken has done is to give London back to the people who live and work in the City. Would Trafalgar Square be a public space or would it still been a traffic island without Ken's northside redevelopment? Would we have even half the free public events we now enjoy? Not alone the TdF coming to London, or the Olympics.0 -
Ken, Boris is a buffoon. Plus he wants to allow motorbikes in cycle lanes?!?0

Ken has done both god and bad.
Public Transport IS better under him, although his decision to let children on buses FOC was a BAD idea. Hopefully his gets control of more of the National Rail routes in London that way we CAN have an integrated public transport system. Sadly as HM Govt has been dragging their feet over Cross rail and Thameslink 2000 it wont be until a decade (long after ken is out of office) that we will really get to realise the improvement.
I won't even go on about the bendy buses  or axing the Routemasters.
Lets hope we finally get a Tram and/or Trolleybus network set up ASAP
I admit the whole Lee Jasper debacle has not done him any favours.
If he is re elected he need to drop most of his cronies.0 -
I’m not a native Londoner, but fully believe Ken has been a benefit. Yes, he does need drop the cronies, nothing makes my blood boil more than seeing my taxes ejaculated up the wall.
Borris is a complete fraud, the few policies he has are obviously ones he has no interest or belief in, I think if he got in, we’d have a rather rude awakening a couple of months down the line. In my view, what we need is a cage match to settle this, Trafalgar Square on a Friday night, Ken would rip the toff’s head off like a rabid ferret.0
