Rotary Coast to Coast Fun Ride in Small Chunks
Scenic route between Ilfracombe and Plymouth

For Teams of Families, Friends, Clubs, Organisations or Businesses choose any section of this beautiful Sustrans route from scenic and flat estuary cycle tracks to stunning moor land byroads. The route passes through some of the most stunning scenery in England. You can ride as much of the route as you like, going between at least two check points. The minimum distance is five miles and you can Route Selection for advice on the difficulty of each section. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Remember you will have to ride there and back again or arrange for you own transport back.

Download a sponsorship form and get each member of the team to raise as much money as possible. This will help to raise your overall team score, see below.

Choose which registered charity you wish to get 50% of the money you raise. 1 charity per team entry. See charity page for details. The other 50% will go to Rotary club charities of which 40 % will go to your local Rotary Club to distribute to charities as they see fit. If you do not specify a charity then all the money you raise will be distributed to Rotary charities.

We strongly recommend all cyclists wear a helmet.

Fun ride prize will be for the team who gets the highest score. You may enter as a team of 1 to 6 persons. Entry cost is £10 per team.

Fun Ride Team Score = Total of each teams person miles x money raised

For Example a team of 6 riding from Bideford to Torrington and back which is 10 miles, and raising £20 each.

Fun Ride Team Score = 6 x 10 x 20 = 1200

There will also be spot prizes on the day for cute kids and fancy dress.

You can start any time from 8 am but you must have finished by 8 pm. Start early so you can relax and enjoy the day, take a picnic or stop at one of the many cafés and pubs on the way. Water will be available at every check point and some will have snacks and mechanics as well.
