Dartmoor Cycle Challenge in aid of Cancer Research UK
Dartmoor Cycle Challenge - Sunday June 8th
The Dartmoor Cycle Challenge is hoping to raise over £30k for Cancer Research UK.
The bike ride starts at 10.00am and you have the option of two routes: 25 or 50 miles.
The 25 mile route starts from Coypool (Park & Ride Car Park), Plympton, Plymouth and follows the Plym Valley Cycle Track, meanders through Clearbrook and up to Yelverton, then continues to Burrator Reservoir before returning to Coypool.
The 50 mile route peels off at Burrator Reservoir and crosses the Princetown Road and follows the old railway track across the moor to Princetown before returning back to Coypool.
The route is mainly off road and is suitable for mountain bikes and hybrids. The scenery is spectacular and there are plenty of watering holes and facilities en route.
Entry is £6
