Would any of the more, how can I put this, generously craniumed on here care to suggest a helmet manufacturer that caters for the big heads amongst the cycling population? I currently use a Specialised helmet but it is getting on a bit, and truth be told I need something that is a more comfortable fit.

I too am one of the "generously craniumed". I buy the biggest available and still have to
open the headband to the max. Let me know how your quest goes.

Giro's are big and I think Met do something called the Testagrossa for the seriously cranially endowed.

It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

  • The Bell King Head is about as big as I have seen, we did them when we ran the the CTC Shop franchise, you may have to import them from the USA as we did back then.

my husband and I both have big swedes! he bought the helmet above and it fits comfortably - don't even need to have it let out to its max circumference.

    bit dear though

My MET fits my big head (which was my nickname at school) just fine and the Catlike helmets are a good fit also which look great.
