Hi Guys,

Do you know how much I should be expecting to pay for a mint condition Whyte 46(2006)?

TIA

Would it still demand that much of a premium seeing as its possible to buy a brand new 07 model for £1695?

Rutlands have one for around £ 1,999,99p 2007 model.

Good bikes from what i hear, apparently better if you have the
    Maveric fork.
Weight is 28 lbs for the whole bike

MBR magazine rated it a 9 in 2006

Bottom Bracket very high but test ride it.
  • Would £750 be considered a bargain for this model?

Chris is this brand new ? Bloody bargin just dont tell anyone where its is if
    you are un sure.

You cant go wrong with this.
What Mountain Bike Said this about it.
High speed XC bike with an appetite for big hits.

    What they loved was.
The Quad Linkage, upside down fork ( Maverick)
and high bottom bracket give phenoomenally smooth
pedal performance at a ride all day weight.

    What to whatch out for
The High gait of the frame, fork twist and all that fluid
suspension float can completely distance you from
the trail and therefore blur vital feedback until its to late.

Just put your leg over it and take it from a spin.

    Thanks grantway.
Its not brand new its from a mate who I know has looked after it. There's not a mark on the paintwork and the Mav's have just been serviced.
My only concern so far is the size of the bike as its a large frame. I'm arranging a test ride to see if it suits

No probs, they are a large-taller bike.

My advice would be to call a shop and tell them what size you
are and ask what size they recomend.

Anyway buying from your mate no probs there has you know that
    the bikes been looked after.

    Good luck
  • If you dont want it due to size, I would be very interested.

    Thanks
