Headset allen bolt - rubber plugs - where to buy??
Hi there,
Bit of an odd one here.
Does anyone know where you can buy the little rubber plugs, which often come with headsets, which sticks into the allen bolt in the headset top cap. Their purpose is mainly aesthetics, but they also stop water collecting in and around the allen bolt.
Not specifically a cycling component I guess but does anyone know where I could buy some?
Thanks,
Allen.

i know the part you mean - my 08 model roubaix s-works frame came with one and it looks really smart
the 08 frame was a replacement for a damaged 07 frame which I bought in january - the 07 frame didn't have one and it took me a thought or two to figure out what it was - usefull and smart looking but I have never seen one for sale!
sorry - this isn't much use to you - but if you can find out, i'll be getting a couple for my other bikes!0 -
fil it up with silicone0

keeps the allen bolt nice and dry and i can chance the cap as the mood takes me.

A small piece of black insulating tape? (looks Ok to me - but function above aesthetics!)0
