The rebound damper on my Giant NRS (with giant proprietry shock) has gone.

Should I get it fixed or get a new shock?

If new shock which one?

Cheers

    Hi,
I'm thinking of changing my one too, which is the Rock Shox Sid and have been advised to purchase one which is suited for the NRS system, like the Giants own NRS shock or a couple available from Fox and maybe others which I'm not aware of, I'm not sure which one to go for  How did the Giants own NRS shock perform

Shock was fine until the rebound damping went and it tops out with a clunk all the time.

Its got no "platform" type setting but to be honest bobbing is not a problem with the NRS.

I have sent the shock off now to a guy who seems to think he can fix it for not too much...
    We'll see!
