Ridiculous... only one of the two in the shed counts as mine. I don't use that one so it doesn't count, but it's a bicycle so isn't going until I know it's going to a good home. One of the ones inside isn't mine either so that doesn't count. The other 3 count. But that still means I don't have a tourer, a proper race bike or the fixy I'd ideally like - so in actual fact there isn't ENOUGH bikes in the house.

Although the Bob Jackson will be ready in May. Had I mentioned that?
'07 Langster (dropped one tooth from standard gearing)
'07 Tricross Sport with rack and guards
STUNNING custom 953 Bob Jackson *sigh*

Surely only "count" if can be ridden at 5 minutes notice (i.e. time to check tyre pressures and swop size of inner tube - if necessary - in the under saddle bag - each saddle of course having a clip in place ready).

On that basis I have only four. One wet geared, one dry geared, one wet fixed, one dry fixed.

Surely no such thing as too many.

Currently have Kuota best bike, Bianchi Via Nirone with Raceblades for wet/winter, Ribble 531c for light touring/winter, Raleigh 531c fixed, and Cannondale Mountainbike.

What I really need now is an Enigma for Sportives
Carlsberg don't make cycle clothing, but if they did it would probably still not be as good as Assos

I have 1 fixed for everyday use, an unknown 531c famed lovely, the 1967 Mercian fixed for touring, the Argos fixed for best, the On One ss is my MTB, the 1930's Evans as a veteran and everyday bike as it has gears (well 2) and will have mudguards, the Raleigh TI fixed as the roller bike, the Dave LLoyd fixed as a back up and the Lo Pro is in storage until I find the converter to turn the disc into a fixed wheel.
Actually that does sound a tad excessive.

Yep, best £14 (2 years ago) I ever spent on bike bits. Unless you count the £8 I got an Olmo for, plus....God.....I dunno.

    1. Brompton for commute to work
    2. Peugeot racer - training bike
    3. Trek Madone - serious bike
    4. £25 old Peugeot (off ebay) for pulling daughter's tad-a-along

BUT - I'll need a 5th soon! - Why? - I need a cheap bike I can leave locked up at a train station. Fancy a fixie for this (the £25 old Peugeot is actually way too small for me).

    I've only got 9 bikes...

and a toolbox rammed with bike specific tools a wheel trueing jig and a dishing stick and a workstand... oh and some rollers and 6 additional pairs of track wheels... and a mountain of 144 pcd track chainrings.

All stuffed into a double garage.. with a fridge full of Belgian beer + park tool BO-1 !
