I have searched this topic guys but found very few postings.
Does anyone have any experience of any of the Bike Mechanic courses that are advertised in the back of the cycling press? There is a Park Tools sponsored one that runs in various formats at a retailer in Kent & another one in Lincolnshire somewhere.
Any tips or advice/experiences much appreciated.

Is the one in Kent at Downland Cycles in Canterbury? Not been on the course, but the people who run it are very good, friendly, and know their stuff: www.downlandcycles.co.uk0

My wife has been on the downlands course and recommends it highly.
Alf and Teresa Webb do a great course as well- and you can do your city and guilds through them!
Weldtite do courses, aimed mostly at professional mechnics I think, and there are the Cytech courses as well.
Try Bike biz website for, or google for these providers. If you're as fat as me, all bikes are bendy.0 -
