Fitting A new rear shock

Ive just fitted a fox float talas shock (its second hand before any 1 asks) on my santa cruz heckler and noticed something odd the shock head is touching the frame i have given it a ride and as far as i can see it's ok does any one ese think this may cause a problem

maybe fit it the other way round.

yeah i tried putting it the other way but the valve is right up against the swing arm and it wont compress it is just touching the frame you could put a piece of paper between it when the shock compresses it dosent move on the frame"Scran doon the toon for 2 99"

right i scraped that idea and put the shock on ebay what type of shock do u suggest spring or air i do xc and sometimes involves a bit of crazy dh"Scran doon the toon for 2 99"

coil if you do a lot of DH.0

i wouldnt say there is alot of dh just the odd bit on our trails so i think ill go for air any recomendtions of make and model"Scran doon the toon for 2 99"

fox in my opinion a lot of top bike manufactuers use them and the best you afford lol http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=21803 seems to be very popular, decent reduction off rrp as well lol0

If you can stretch id say this one, it is fantastic, buttery smooth action and a 100% locking lockout for those steep climbs.
