Increased travel on a 2007 GT Zaskar

Hi, was just wondering if anybody has increased the travel on a 2007 GT zaskar from 80mm to 100mm? If so how did it affect the handling please?

    I havent personally, but it shouldnt cause too many problems - will make the bike a little slower and more relaxed. I wouldnt go any more than 100mm though. Thpugh remember different brands have different crown to axle distances for the same travel. I ran my 1996 Zaskar at 100mm for many years, worked well.

    Thanks supersonic. It will be the same fork, basically my insurance is replacing the forks because they got damaged when my shed blew down in the recent storms, but I understand that the 2008 recons are 100mm travel.
