Hi does anyone know where to get this size bottom bracket bearing from: 18mm-id 31mm-od and 8mm wide

    what is the bearing out of? what bb?

    what number is on the seal?

    As nick says, any bearing supplier and they'll have a couple of options for you to chose from with regards the grade of bearing. Top grade is aircraft, I think, and priced accordingly.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    Sounds to me your after a headset bearing, give them a call and say exactly what size you need, ive thrown custom sizes at them and have always come up trumps, a top company to deal with.
    The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.
