Roval Fusee Star vs Fulcrum Racing 1
Hi chaps,
Been looking at a Tarmac Pro, that comes with Roval Fusee Star wheels that i dont like the look off (seem really heavy even if they are aero), i have not had a chacne to ride on them yet (will do)
Anyone had any experience riding both the Fusee and Fulcrum racing 1s? Can't find any comparisons online
Thanks
Will

i can't find any reviews at the moment, but what from what I remember they get pretty good reviews.
i'm with you though - they look like crap!
can your dealer not do an 'upgrade' price to change them?
alternatively I'd imagine that you would get a decent price for them ont'bay so you could change to them
think how good though red-spoked zero's would look on a tarmac pro!!0 -

that is what i am thinking!!!!! Just my budged is creaping up lol
I am tempted by some 1s as there closing to the price point if it comes to it, but i would love some zeros0 -
some good deals to be had on zero's if you are willing to look abroad - comobike in italy and jedi sports in germany for example - jedi are doing them at 649 euros at the moment.0

Which may be becasue they have thicker braking surfaces and will therefore last longer. It's the first place manufacturers go to pare off the grams.
The lightest wheels are likely to have the shortest lived rims - before you buy light factory built wheels, ask the shop how easy it will be to get new rims laced on and what it will cost.0 -

Hmmm, thanks for that, something i will look into!0 -
in my experience i will always 'want' to change wheels long before i will ever 'need' to change them - i don't think I have ever worn a rim out - more often I just 'fancy' those new wheels that have just come on the market...
