    Rushing home from school many years ago,
    Going too fast over a anti traveller mound at the local lake straight onto the bonnet of a mini on the other side..

    result...

    3 broken ribs and one missing tooth
    and a bill for a new windscreen....

    My brother did something like this when he was about your age, except it was just his face that he landed on. He wasn't happy!

    Not sure which is my worst, but they don't get anywhere near most of your stories...

    1. Age 4/5, flying down the hill of the cul-de-sac I lived on, on the right hand side of the road (naturally!), saw a car coming towards me, discovered my brakes didn't work and hit the bonnet, sliding across it and onto the ground. Escaped with just a few cuts & bruises.

    2. Around the same age, I tried cycling off the pavement onto the road, got it all wrong and landed on my head in some broken glass. Got concussion and a scar that can still be seen (20ish years later).

    3. On the way back from my paper round one morning, decided to see how big a bunny hop I could do off the pavement. Unfortunately a car decided to be driving along (first time I'd ever seen a car on that road at that time of day) and I went straight into the side of it. Put some massive dents into the bonnet and wing and re-hurt my finger that I had dislocated and broken not long before.

    Also fell off while doing a failed trackstand very near work a year or so ago. :oops:
