Gites in Provence

Hi guys,
We're currently planning our summer holiday to provence and wondered if any one knew any good gites for 2 people around Avignon, Mormoiron or St Remy.
We're looking for somewhere that's peaceful, near to some attractions, restaurants and not a long drive from an airport (oh and maybe a pool).
We're gonna go for a week in June and maybe hire some bikes while we're there for a few rides so any recomendations on hire companies welcome.
We've had a look on ChezNous and a few other sites but find you never really get an idea of the place or the area. Not to mention trawling through the lists is a pain in the butt.
Any other suggestions welcome.
