Sorry to do this.... which bike should I choose?

Right guys, after loads of researching on here and other sites, I have some choices to make to would appreciate your help....

Options:

Carrera Vulcan 08 Disc from Halfords = £280 (with free £50 accessory voucher)
GT Agressor XC.03 08 from Halfords = £299 (with free voucher as above)
GT Agressor XC.03 07 from Halfords = £249 (with free voucher as above)

OR

Bike 2 Work scheme:

GT Avalanche 2.0 would cost me £275.97 over the year (plus any final purchase fee) + about £23 for a helmet (have seen a cool one reduced in Halfords)

Whilst the Bike 2 Work scheme is good for getting me a better bike for similar money, it seems a lot of hassle and messing about compared to walking into a shop and paying in full....

So whilst I imagine the Avalanche 2.0 is a lot better than the other 3, is it better enough to warrant the extra messing about?

BTW should just clarify, I imagine most (all) of my riding will be XC on trails like FTD on Cannock Chase....

the aggressor 2.0 has got the hydro discs over the 3.0's mechanical discs. That's worth the extra hassle in my opinion.

All the bikes you mention are decent bits of kit. The GTs would edge it for me though.

Wouldnt get the carrera simply because their sold at halfords
