Im looking at getting a new bike for no more than £450

I've been looking at the Scott scale 80 and was wondering if its worth it.
Has anyone got an opinion on this one? upsides and downsides etc...

I do general riding around town with kids, little offroad with the odd jump(nothing to big lol), commuting etc

Thanks for any help

Trevor

Its a very XC oriented bike, with the long low ride position, and V brakes. Its brother, the Scott Aspect would be worth comparing: more 'trail friendly', but a little heavier.

I just been looking into the aspect 30
It seems that it might be the better option out of the two.
The specs look pretty similar and the extra weight don't seem to much so cant see that being to much of a problem.

    Thanks for the info
