removed posts, not usually; they generally got hung out for all to see on the forum gibbet

Thanks for the reminder, I must give my lawyer a call about that

It will be doubly funny now he's locked himself out....

A new user has appeared and, based on certain strange posting patterns, has apparently been christened TUFKATBDAICMFP. If you know that "TBD" stands forThe Benevolent (!) Dictator, you can probably suss out the rest :D

I have this vision of him flying an X-Wing fighter with Obi-Wan's voice in his headset urging "Let go, Sam, let go" but he won't put his targeting computer away

Had I spent enough time on that forum to be able to decipher posting patterns or know what TUFK etc might mean, I'd consider it time wasted.

Let's hope this forum maintains more of an equilibrium.

I spent exactly no time on that forum, but I'm guessing TUFKA stands for "The User Formerly Known As..." and AICMFP is something like "...And I Claim My Free Prize". Of course, I could be wrong.
Even if the voices aren't real, they have some very good ideas.

ICMFP is I Claim My Five Pounds, but close enough.

As I speak, there's a wholesale purge of accounts going on at the "old" ACF, which appears to be targeted at those who have supported yACF. We can hope it's a bug or a hacker, but it seems far too targeted

Given that we've been able to generate only 40 replies, and CycleChat over 40 pages last time I looked, I would suspect "less than a sh1t". I would further suspect that the large number of views this topic has against it is down to former C+ers seeing what we are saying about them.

This says lots about what Bikeradar has become and I prefer it here without the 'personalities'. It's much duller but easier to digest.
  • Work filters cyclechat, and I wouldn't waste leisure time on there, so it's here for me.

Hmm...my account has been deleted too. Although I only registered the other day and hadn't posted anything so no worries for me.

What have the CCers managed to talk about on that subject for 40 pages!?

I'm actually a bit worried about poor old Sam. He's getting battered all over the net at the moment. Its probably not very nice for the poor chap to see his online self being pilloried in public, especially as he doesn't even use a pseudonym!

Unfortunately, although he seems like a nice feller and well meaning, he's left himself open to attack a bit due to the way he goes about things. I don't think he can say anything that will get him off the hook now because even when he tries to explain he gets shouted off the stage. Best just to walk away from it all but thats got to be pretty hard to do.
