Just thought id pop on and say hi been reading the forum for a while... My hubby posts on here often.. so between this and his beloved bike i dont see much of him..so decided to join him :lol: am i mad?
Hes recently bought himself a new bike and has got an old Kona lying around so im considering trying out this biking lark :shock: :D

VW CAMPERS, CLASSIC MINIS, Festivals, Gigs, Camping,
oap walking, stunt driving, horse whispering, goldfish training, dog recycling, bomb disposal, quad biking with llamas, mash potato sculptures, cow tipin, melting stuff, dildos,Porn.

    Just remember never to be (and especially not to demonstrate you are) better than him at climbing, descending, jumping, repairs or anything else bike-related and you might just get away with it! :wink:

    Oh and ask his advice often (although never about anything he might not know the answer to) and listen to his reply as though each word is a diamond-encrusted trinket for you. :lol:

    i actually enjoy riding with my wife when she comes out! normally put the trailer on the bike and the littlun comes too so ifts more a family outing! but it is nice for the wife to see the rides we do as a group and join in every now and then!

    My other half got me into mountain biking and I am completely converted now! I agree with Belv, in the interests of domestic bliss just try not to look too smug when you actually do something better than him :wink:

    Ah I see the wife has tracked me down then !! Ive been trying to get her on the 'spare' bike for ages but finally it seems she is coming around to the idea. Great !! guilt free rides for me from now on :wink:

    Your right though,if she is better than me I will sulk,or just say my gears were slipping !! :lol:

    Or there is oil on your pads is a good un, cant go to fast cos my breaks aren't on form...

    I'm a bit of the opposite, my girlfriend got me into mountain bikes and I love getting out there with her, even if I do hold her up when I get the opportunity, but I'm getting in practice whenever I can and we're going out on our bikes together for the first time in about a month this weekend, I'm hoping to show her up a little :P
