xt775 has hub become quiet?

guess i've done about 200miles on it, bridleways and road and today it felt a little draggy then went alot quieter and alot less drag too. it feels like my old lx one, quiet and smooth but with all the 36 poe still working fine. also there seems to be some play in the freehub, maybe 1/2mm in all directions but can't be felt when pedaling. just wondering is this normal or is the freehub about to have an early death on me?

have you checked the cones are tight.... see park tools0

yes first thing i checked, no play in the hub and spins freely, it's the characteristic of the freehub body that's changed, if anything it's become better as it's quieter and less draggy. just wondering if that's a normal thing on xt freehub bodys?0

If it is only after 200miles then i wouldn't worry, almost certainly just settling in.0
