Do you thank courteous drivers?

Always - I put my hand on my visor and give a little doff of the helmet.
I have noticed though that if I give way to cars, I get a lot less thanks on my bike than I did in my car. Oh well....0 -
I always thank drivers. Even if they've done something they should have done anyway (ie, waited for me to pass before turning right).
There was some really nice driving the other day, I was accompanying a less-experienced friend and a few times we had to change lanes, I always waved/thumbs-upped drivers who let me through and when I looked back to check on her they had also let her through (I kept getting further ahead of her than I meant to!)0
