What a great ride by Chavanel once again. It's refreshing to hear a French rider winning again after so many years of other nations ridiculing them.

As for the Ronde, I still think it'll be either Cancellara or Boonen.

    There definitely seems to be something different. this year more generally. Belgian (well, Flemish) teams and riders seem to have in general taken a relative step backwards.

    Gilbert 2nd too... really good to see.

    But yeah, I agree about the Ronde. No-one is gonna let Chavanel or Gilbert attack from 25km out.
