Swissstop Brakes Beware!

Bought some Swissstop Race 2000 Green Pads (Campag) earlier on this week. Fitted them today only to find that the diameter of the bolt was too large to fit through the slot in the Campag Veloce brake caliper

Easy resolution was to use the old bolts. Lucky for me the old bolts were still in OK condition

They do look bery nice against the colour of my bike though

Hmm... Sounds like they stuck the wrong ones in the pack...
Swissstop do two sets of GHP pads with shoes - The "Flash 2000" are the ones for Shimano, and the Race 2000 *should* be the ones for Campag.
The difference between the two is the size of the bolt.
You should point this out to your supplier - sounds like some muppet has put the wrong labels on a batch.

No. Checked again. Def the Campag ones. The only thing I can think is that it does say Record on the packet, and mine are Veloce. Does this mean that the slots are narrower on the Veloce calipers than the Records?

When I bought them online it just said Campag fit. Maybe worth further investigation, but I'm not that bothered as I said I used the old bolts. I just posted this as a point of interest, and in case anyone else had the same problem.

I do know the difference between Campag and Shimano.
