As it's Friday...

What's in your head today?

Mine is running "Swamp Thing" by the Chameleons on repeat play, an oldie but a goodie

It's just a hill. Get over it.

I think it's known as an earworm.

My head is empty today, but I ran the Bath Half Marathon the other week with a song from Les Miserables stuck in my head (I'd seen it the day before, bought the tickets as a birthday pressie to my dear old Mum).

    Nearly drove me frickin mad!
    "Impressive break"

    "Thanks...

    ...I can taste blood"

Bob Dylan - The levee's gonna break

Really catchy, like a lot of Dylan's later stuff

"The moon shine bright on Charlie Chaplin,
His boots are cracking, for want of blacking,
and his little baggy trousers they'll want mendin',
    Before we send 'im,
    to the Dardenelles".

...can't get it out of my head...
...all the way...'til the wheels fall off and burn...
