specialized epic,shock bush.

I have a specialized epic comp 2007 with fox float r brain shock.I recently noticed knock noise coming from rear, have replaced all 8 suspension bearings to no avail. Traced knock to the bottom shock rose joint and replaced with new one, however the knock is still there and it is def coming from said rose joint.seems to be play from side to side if that makes sense, is this common problem or am i doing something wrong?
