Ultimate Tapering

I appear to have stumbled upon the perfect tapering regime after a period of intense training: Sit on your arse for 5 days getting drunk or eating easter eggs (at the same time if you're very dedicated).

I followed just this regimen whils away for the Easter weekend and i went like a rocket when i was back on the bike yesterday - i was comfortably pedalling a gear higher than normal almost every where - i felt like Fabian Cancellara (well probably when he was about twelve) :shock:

I'm really pleased because now i know just what to do in the week running up to the etape :D
