Seat clamp?

Any one know what size seat clamp is required for a GT Avalanche 1 2008 model?

    my 2006 avalanch has a 31.8mm clamp and a 27.2mm seatpost I would imagine if your frame takes a 27.2mm post that it would also be a 31.8mm clamp take the post out it should have the size stamped on it below the minimum insertion mark also some clamps have the size stamped on them

    Took ages to find the size of mine - Specialized being what they are have their own exclusive size.

    But I found it on here and have literally just fitted a lovely Hope QR clamp - for some biazarre reason Stumpjumpers come with a non QR seat clamp - are they trying to save a few grams or just being stingy?!
    Two Stumpjumpers, a Rockhopper Disk and an old British Eagle.

    My 06 Avalance is sized as above, bought a clamp of ebay and found one in the shed after I had done BIN :oops: , shed not here though.

    If you want my spare clamp PM me.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
