    WOW - very nice

    great build
  • thanks for the comments guys!

Do you think it'd benefit from a set of deepsection carbon wheels? Something with less spokes?

Nice looking bike Gats - you've done a good job there.

I'm also delighted to see that you're not satisfied and are looking at your next upgrade already.
  • the pursuit for bike perfection should never end!

wheels and lots of lightweighty bits are planned like jockey wheels, bolts etc. It's OK for the moment though I reckon. Gotta sort out the geometry and fitting and then hopefully I can cut down the steerer a bit to make t a bit more stealthy cos that just looks junk at the mo.

What's the point of having such a well specced and light bike if you aren't going to even meet the most basic of Euro cyclist rules?

The wheels look fine, although some Bora Ultras would add to the porn value. Get some decent tyres though, for heaven sake man!
  • ademort - what's the problem with it?

Yup I know the tyres were on cos thats what I had but next month they'll be replaced with Pro3 races.

    It needs more carbon!

    :D
  • well the pedals are Time Ulteam carbon so that ups the quota a bit - could always go AX lightness brakes and carbon sports LW rear mech and LW or boras to complete the set!

Has anyone used Tiso pulleys for their rear mechs?

Nobody tell him that Colnagos are made in Taiwan....

Only joking Gats - I'm just jealous.. :-)
  • ahh you see I knew that which is why I went for an older E1 frame to guarantee its Italian heritage! Was gonna get a CLX but since I found out they're made in the same place as scott's, spesh and canondale I decided against it!

I wanted it as Italian as possible - save the wheelset.
