For what usage, and what time of year?

  • I run 2.35 HighRoller SuperTacky on 819's (front only) and cannot feel any roll! maybe different if 2.35 on the rear? I run 2.1 Fire XC (rear) just because!! Waiting for it to wear out then gonna get a 2.1 HighRoller.

  • Mainly cwmcarn red trail and a bit of free ride at the top, the time of year now. Also I have only got ust rim on the front so i am looking for a good front tyre.
  • new continental Mountain king USTs 2.2 or 2.4, I'm using the 2.4's and they are spot on.

how wide are those 2.4's dave? i was using 2.1 speedkings and they were skinny as fook so just wondering if the same could be said of the other conti tyres, cheers.
  • I a gonna try some ignitor Lusts 2.1 and thats my final decision..... i think

they are not massive, I would say a fraction smaller than a 2.3 maxxis but roll really nicely and I am pretty impressed with them so far, right through winter on them no problems (including sundays snow at Landegella) and am waiting to see how they go once things dry out a bit. I believe Continental measure there tyres slightly differently to other manufacturers hence the difference.
I would recommend them heartily though.

also says tubeless in massive letters on the carcass to let everyone know you are in the know!
