Coyote, there are thousands of people using VN frames in the UK and if there was a widespread problem with the BB threads it would be all over the net. As it is, yours is the only reported case I can find.

I certainly don't have a problem with mine, or anyone else I know.

a serious case of small cogs

Good for you toontra. This is a forum after all, sharing knowledge is what it's all about and now Kelly has a more balanced view.

I'm sure VN 's Chinese factory only used a blunt cutting tool for a little while... just as I'm sure VN have lots of satisfied customers ...and just as I'm sure they have a few dis satisfied customers who know VN talk bollocks when presented with a customer service issue. I really do hope the poor sods who bought the frames I sent back are blissfully ignorant and remain so. I'm just glad I'm not one of them and I'm glad I spent my £750 elsewhere.

.....and meanwhile back at the original point - yes, it's English.
  • Yes they are, if you have one and by way of reasurance we have sold quite a few Van Nicholas bikes/frames and before that Airborne; we have never had the problem that Coyote has mentioned.

Again by way of reasurance I have been dealing with owner, Jan-Willem Sintnicolaas, for seven years now, I can count on one hand the amount of times we have had any warranty queries, on each occasion it has been dealt with efficiently.
