Hello all, built this when i was about 15 with pocket money and the odd job lol
Im now 19 and want to upgrade a few things as i have started to ride more!
Trying to ride 2-3 times a week! and go to my local trail Thetford forest on the black trail once of twice a month!
Heres my bike
Plans so far:
New Tryes (ideas? High rollers.. want something easy and fast with some ood grips and looks)
New 7 spd shifter
Anymore ideas?
Cheers

great photo dude!
Any chance you just finished a huge downhill before taking this snap?
(I feel drunk just looking at it...)Not really active0 -
Why do you feel the need to upgrade? Where is it letting you down?0

well i dont know if i want to get a new frame and build on that or udgrade on mine!
Would LIKE:
New sus
better gears
Disc breaks
Might get some funky new wheels!
So the real question is build on my frame or find a nice (ebay) full sus frame and build on that!
?0 -
Depends on your budget, what you can get for new, and long term goals. Its not a bad frame you have, but I agree forks could be better.
New discs would probably require new wheels.0 -
Hmm yeah its nice and light frame, but wouldnt mind a ful sus one so i can get abit lairly!
Rear is disc ready but not front!
So for now new forks then.. Rock shock or marazoki? (about 150 notes i will spend)0 -
If solely doinf jumps and drops, then the Zocchi DJ forks. If not, has to be an RS Tora.
Be aware that cheap full suss frames may actually handle worse than what you have!0 -

not quite, mosly trail riding but will stop off now and again to have some fun
might leave frame then and get spec up then!
Are cable disc bad?
Also wat front wheel?0 -
Cable discs can be good, when set up properly and should be better in the wet.
Front wheel again depends on budget - Can get a Deore hub on Mavic 321 from Merlin for 50 quid, a solid budget wheel.0 -
my rear is a mavic one a deore!
So wat sus then? RockShock0 -
