New Chain and Cassette

Ok, so this weekend I am planning on replacing the chain and cassette on my Roubaix, I have been looking at SRAM components, namely a PG950 9 speed cassette and a PC951 9 speed chain, are these direct replacement parts for my original Shimano components?
I am all ready to press the BUY IT NOW button on DOTBIKE but just need some reassurance!
Anyone out there to help me?

    Press the buy button, they will be fine as long as your original setup was 9 speed.

    Thanks for the hasty reply! I am 99.9% sure its 9 speed but going to check before I hit that button.
