OK, I have just got a new Litespeed titanium frame :P and a carbon seatpost. Before I do anything daft what (if any) lubrication/anti-seize is required for the two surfaces???
Cheers

Nothing required on the 2 surfaces , just make sure they are both clean and dry . I have an EC70 post in a Sunday frame and not had any issues .

Tacx carbon assembly compound ideally, but nothing will be fine. Most carbon component manufacturers warn against using conventional grease.
  • Good choice. fitted a Campag chorus Carbon seatpin to my new litespeed a few months back - try using some Copperslip - some bike shops will stock it or get it from a plumbers merchants.

I used a light smearing of copperslip on my Argon18 and carbon post. No problems so far.
  • I would defo recommend some anti-seize (such as copper compound) as my mate had terrible trouble with his carbon seatpost & Litespeed titanium bike.
It took four strong lads to dislodge the post after about two hours trying, bike was only a few months old too.
I just tell him he was too heavy.............
