A fantastic win - what guts to just sit out there with that world-class field behind you and see if you can pull off a win! If I've understood correctly she stayed out there while her breakaway companions opted to go back to the bunch - they were top-class riders too.

She's proved that she's right up there as one of the best in the world along with Cooke (though she did already at last year's Worlds).

There's so much that's exciting for British women's cycling these days. :D

    :D Great news!

I bumped into Emma (not literally) at the top of a mountain in Majorca the week before last. She's really nice and it's fab to see her pull off such a fantastic win!

fantastic. I am really pleased for Emma.

She showed such promise in the Worlds but had a couple of unfortunate incidents one of which appeared to be a missed gear change at the bottom of one of the last climbs.I hardly dare breathe for the last couple of circuits !

I wish there was some TV coverage of the race. 2000000000,000 bluddy hours of golf over this last weekend groan and not 10 minutes coverage of our world class Women racers
